Klein has bundled the BEST of Coastal Virginia for passengers in the four day, three night excursion to Norfolk and Virginia Beach.   Join us as we venture to your waterfront accommodations at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel.  Eash year the City of Norfolk hosts one of the east coast's favorite festivals, the Annual Norfolk Harborfest®. The festival is the largest, longest-running, free maritime festival in the nation.  Our passengers will enjoy walking to the festival from their hotel, immersing themselves in the wonder of the tall ships, the Parade of Sail, festival foods and beverages, live performances, one of the largest fireworks displays on the coast!  This tour has many inclusions throughout your stay, fine dining, botanical gardens, lighthouses and even cruises!   

Day One

Arrive at your waterfront accomodations at the Sheraton Norfolk Watershide Hotel, check-in, and prepare to discover the sights and sounds of Coastal Virginia. First, walk next door to the Waterside District and enjoy dinner at Stripers Restaurant, featuring seafood and American cuisine. That night, get a taste of what Harbor fest has to offer as you walk to the adjacent Town Point Park to catch a live concert and view the show-stopping fireworks.

Day Two

Following breakfast, board the motorcoach with your tour guide and embark on a riding tour of Norfolk to learn about the port city's colorful 330-year history as you ride through the lovely historic district and restored areas. Then visit the Norfolk Botanical Gardens in full bloom. Take a trackless tram to explore 155-acres of rare flowers, mature forests and one of the largest collections of azaleas, camellias, and roses on the East Coast. Then, it's on to a festive day at Harborfest. This historic maritime festival features activities on land and sea including tall ships, artisan foods and beverages, vendors, unique and unusual performances and national and regional entertainment. You'll enjoy both lunch and dinner on your own at the variety of food trucks and vendors or nearby restaurants. Live concerts extend into the evening, and with your hotel nearby you can come and go as you please.

Day Three

After breakfast at your hotel, join your tour guide for a Virginia Beach Riding Tour as you learn about the history of Virginia's largest city and get the pulse on current day Virginia Beach. Stop at the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse, a National Historic Landmark that has guarded the mouth of the bay since 1792 (climb on own for a small fee). Enjoy lunch on your own and free time to explore the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Dip your toes in the sand, stroll the boardwalk or hit the shops. Then, it's off to one of Virginia Beach's most prized attractions, the Military Aviation Museum. Enjoy a guided tour of one of the largest private collections of World War II and Korean War era aircraft in the world. Most of the planes are still flight-worthy and are restored to their original condition. That evening, you'll have a blast playing shuffleboard at Beachside Social. Enjoy a buffet spread of light dinner fare in their retro-cool venue. Craft beer and cocktails can be purchased on your own.

Day Four

After breakfast and check-out from your hotel, spend time on the water as you board a dolphin watching cruise and see the beloved mammals in their natural habitat. After the cruise, lunch will be enjoyed at Rockafeller's, a local favorite serving delicious seafood and land lover options in a picturesque waterfront setting. Following lunch, depart with fond memories of your time spent in Coastal Virginia.
