Laurel Festival - Penn Wells, Wellsboro PA

Day One

Depart for a mid morning arrival in Wellsboro home of the PA Grand Cannon. The first stop of this magnificant tour will be the Ole Covered Wagon. Climb off the Deluxe Klein motorcoach and board a horse-drawn covered wagon as a guide will escort you through the wondrous Pennsylania Grand Canyon. Your guide will tell the tale of the Canyon dating back to the 19th century - while the wagon winds its way on the Pine Creek Rail trail. After the excursion, enjoy an included Cowboy Lunch at the Wagon station. Bid farewell to cowboy life, and journey to the Leonard Harrison State Park and Overlook before checking into the Lodge. Freshen up before enjoying an included dinner at the Penn Wells Hotel. After dinner enjoy the Laurel Festival Evening Concert, a short walk from the hotel. After the evening's entertainment, enjoy your accomodations and rest up before embarking on another exciting day.

Day Two

Enjoy breakfast at the Lodge at your leisure. After breakfast, enjoy a historical short film at Arcadia before departing for time to explore downtown and the Arts Fair on the green. While strolling, enjoy lunch on your own. Be sure to arrive at the Courthouse steps in plenty of time to catch the Laurel Festival Queens Welcome at noon. Early afternoon we will depart for Highland Chocolate, and tour their factory. You will even be gifted a sweet treat before departing for home. An extended dinner stop may be made on way home for those that would like to enjoy dinner on their own.
