Klein Transportation is seeking a full-time Customer Service/Sales Assistant to join our experienced and professional office staff. This position works directly with cutomers both in person, over the phone and though e-communication. This person will work directly with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing as a part of the sales team to ensure Klein customers are provided quality the quality products and services they have come to expect for over sixty years.
Duties include providing exceptional customer service to customers through motor coach and school bus charter sales, casino, and one-day trip and/or multi day tour sales. Sales assistant will support customers both in person, over the phone and in online communication. Responsibilities may also include tasks such as preparation of charter reservations and quote preparation, as well as reconfirming scheduled charters, customer quote follow up communication and past due payment calls.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience using Microsoft Office Tools and Windows based applications
Organizational skills with an ability to multi-task
Friendly demeanor for phone and in person customer communication
Willingness and ability to work with various types of people and groups
Self-starter with the ability and desire to learn new things
Previous work history of customer service positions where relationship development was paramount
Customer Service Experience Required, Sales Experience helpful
Ability to work an 8 hour shift, Monday through Friday
High School Graduate/Equivalent or higher
Full-Time: 40 Hours per week, Monday through
Friday
Office work, no remote
Pay: $15 - $18 per hour (based upon
experience)
