Variable Pricing

Klein calculates each trip by day of the year, day of the week, amount of time utilized and total miles of trip.  We have found that this is the most fair to our customers. Many times we can instantly quote a customer's charter, however in some cases we will ask for your patience as we calculate the best and most fair price.

 

Our price includes tax, tolls, and a fuel expense. Most trips include parking. A minimum customary gratuity has also been added to each charter for our driver.  A suggested gratuity for a job well done is 10-20% of the charter amount.  Group Leaders are encouraged to either increase the customary gratuity or to provide additional gratuity on the day of the trip for a job well done.

 

The cost includes providing well maintained, clean buses with professional drivers arriving on time with safety first.  Klein asks you to remember that there are different service levels in today’s marketplace. Please do your research on the safety rating and choose wisely for your group.

 

Discounts

Similar to airfare Klein offers a Value, Peak, and Discount charter seasons.  Charters are discounted based upon date(s) of travel.  Please ask your sales associate for assistance in selecting a travel date and/or to discuss value discounting. 

 

Itinerary Planning

We calculate a per person travel rate on tours where we plan the itinerary. We make arrangements for your group at all eating establishments, attractions, and hotel accommodations for overnight tours. We receive tour operator rates which are substantially lower and the savings are passed on to you.

 

Payment

A $500 per bus, per day deposit is due upon receipt of written acceptance.  Final payment is due 30 days prior to the trip date. A deposited charter does signify agreement of all Klein Charter Policies.
