Begin in Mystic, CT, exploring the nation’s leading maritime museum and a recreated coastal village, then dive into naval history at the Submarine Force Museum in Groton. Ride the nostalgic Essex Steam Train and cruise the Connecticut River with a picnic lunch, followed by a fragrant stop at the Yankee Candle Factory.

 

Settle in for three nights in Lincoln, NH, your base for exploring the region’s natural beauty and cultural gems. Cruise the tranquil waters of Squam Lake, shop and dine in charming villages, and indulge in homemade ice cream before boarding the Café Lafayette Dinner Train for a gourmet meal on rails. Marvel at the White Mountains along the scenic Kancamagus Highway, ride the historic Mount Washington Cog Railway to the summit, and explore its dramatic weather exhibits and panoramic views.

 

Wrap up your adventure with a visit to Lake George, NY, where shopping, dining, and a narrated cruise aboard the “Mohican” offer a relaxing finale. Depart from Douglassville with an extended comfort stop for lunch on your own enroute to New England. Your first stop in NE is Mystic, CT for a visit to the nation's leading maritime museum - the Mystic Seaport Museum. Explore the 19-acre recreated New England Coastal Village, shipyard, exhibit halls and historic vessels. One-night stay at a hotel in Waterford, CT. Dinner is included this evening at a local restaurant.

Following an included hotel breakfast and check-out, board the coach for a visit to the Submarine Force Museum in Groton, CT Located on the shores of the Thames River and operated by the United States Navy, the musuem maintains the world's finest collection of submarine artifacts and is home to the first nuclear powered submarine - the USS Nautilus. We now travel to Essex, CT for a scenic train ride on baord the Essex Steam Train and a Riverboat Cruise on the Conneticut River. A picnic lunch is included aboard the riverboat. Once back on the motorcoach, head north for a visit to the Yankee Candle Factory in Deerfield, MA. You will then continue north for a three-night's stay at a hotel in Lincoln, NH. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening.

Following an included hotel breakfast, you are joined aboard the coach by a local guide and journey to Holderness, NH and Squam Lake Cruises. Enjoy a narrated boat ride on Squam Lake - made famous by the movie "On Golden Pond". Your next stop will take you to Mill Falls Marketplace with time for lunch and shopping on your own. Then it's time to travel back to the hotel with a stop at KellerHaus for a delicious homemade ice cream treat. After a few moments to rest and refresh, board the coach to depart for the Cafe Lafayette Dinner Train to enjoy a four course dinner while rolling through the countryside.

Following an included hotel breakfast, board the coach with a local guide for a scenic drive across the Kancamagus Highway where you will be amazed at the breathtaking views of the White Mountains with picture stops, weather permitting. Upon arrival in North Conway, NH enjoy lunch and shopping on your own. Back on board the motorcoach make your way to the Mount Washington Cog Railway for a roundtrip excursion to the summit of Mount Washington. Once at the summit you will have an opportunity to visit the Sherman Adams Visitor Center and rooftop observation deck, the Extreme Mount Washington Interactive weather exhibit and the gift shop. Returning to the hotel, dinner is included at a local restaurant.

Mon, June 22, 2026

Following an included hotel breakfast and check-out, board the boach and head for Lake George, NY where you will have time for lunch and shopping on your own. Then it's time to board the "Mohican" for a narrated 2 1/2 hour cruise on Lake George. Finally it is time to head off to check into your Queensbury, NY hotel. Dinner is included at a local restaurant.

Following an included hotel breakfast and check-out, board your motorcoach for your journey home with fond memories of your time in New England. Enroute will be an extended comfort stop for lunch on your own.
