DC Freetime

Arrive in Washington, D.C. approximately 10:30am

Drop off in front of the Ronald Reagan Building located at 14th Street NW & Constitution Ave NW

Bus will Depart Washington at 5:45pm from the same location that you were dropped off. - Please check with your tour director for more information regarding this location before disembarking for the day.

Please note that this is a freetime trip and you will be on your own once you arrive

Planning & Navigation

  • Metro Access:

      The Ronald Reagan Building connects directly to the Federal Triangle Metro Station, making it easy to hop on the Orange, Blue, or Silver lines.

  • Timing:

      Museums close around 5:00-5:30 pm, so priortize them before heading to neighborhoods.

  • Comfort:

      The National Mall looks compact on a map, but it's nearly 2 miles end-to-end. Wear good walking shoes.  Pace yourself and pick highlights. 

  • Maps & Apps:

      Download the National Mall app or use Google Maps walking mode for real-time guidance.
