Get ready—the wildly popular Thunder Over the Waves Airshow is set to soar back into the Wildwoods on September 12, 2026. After drawing more than 133,000 visitors in 2025, this highflying event is gearing up for an even bigger and more exciting return.

The inaugural show wowed crowds with 15 thrilling aerial acts, from custom aircraft to elite military performers and parachute teams, helping launch the Wildwoods’ vibrant fall “Second Season.”

Arrival Information: Arrive in Wildwood, NJ at approximately 11:00am

Main Airshow, with opening ceremony at 11:50 a.m. and performances until 3 p.m. (weather may affect timing)

Prime viewing is between Morey’s Mariners Pier (giant Ferris wheel) and Morey’s Adventure Pier (wooden roller coaster), offering the best vantage point for the aerial performances.

Departure from Wildwood, NJ: Bus will Depart Wildwood at 6:00pm from the same location that you were dropped off. - Please check with your tour director for more information regarding this location before disembarking for the day.

Wildwoods Thunder Over the Waves Airshow

Experience the Wildwoods Airshow on September 12, 2026, soaring above the Atlantic Ocean in Wildwood, New Jersey. Enjoy stunning views from the beach or boardwalk between 22nd Street and Andrews Avenue, with Show Center located at the Spicer Avenue beach.

Main Airshow, with opening ceremony at 11:50 a.m. and performances until 3 p.m. (weather may affect timing)

The event is free to attend, with excellent viewing all along the beachfront. For an upgraded experience, VIP viewing areas near the Show Center “drop zone” are available for purchase.
